De Montfort University (DMU) is a dynamic institution with a long and vibrant history of improving people’s lives through education.

Originally founded as the Leicester School of Art in 1870, the university has evolved through many incarnations including the Leicester Colleges of Art and Technology and Leicester Polytechnic.

Leicester Polytechnic officially became De Montfort University on 26 June 1992. 

About SISFU

It was Dr. Genevieve Ledesma-Tan who founded in 1990 Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), which grew rapidly into a full international school. In 1997, Roger and Helen Bartholomew teamed up with the founder of SISC to start Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities(SISFU), the first international university in the country. In May 1998, the opening of SISFU was graced by prestigious dignitaries and a large contingent from the press.

ICHM (International College of Hotel Management) in Adelaide, Australia was established 1992 in  association with Swiss Hotel Association (SHA) and the South Australian Government. It prepares students for  success at the top end of the international hotel industry.
